After I was remembering my children´s play on Y2K, I began to fly dual line kites. At first, I decided to buy a couple of single kite to my children, Nicolás and Leila. I was looking for traditional kites (one line) and to my surprise I found some dual line kites in the store at that time. I could not found many models because dual line kites was not very common in our Country. Despite that, I decided to get my first it by curiosity.
That weekend I went to my children to fly kites. After I read the dual line instructions, I tried many times to take off and fly …but I could not. My wife, Leda saw my uneasy face and told me: …"Let me try"…and Saint God! "She succeeds at first attempt" … "Maybe she's got a gift,"…I thought. Wow! Fortunately, thanks Leda I could learn to skip my first reef…
The time's gone and a funny "play" turns on "sport"… I get my second dual line kite on January 2001 that's why I begun to fly more often at weekend in Vicente Lopez coast.
My enthusiasm grows up time after time. Next year - 2002 - in "El Condor" beach - Viedma - Río Negro Province; I imagined that it could be possible fly 2 dual line kites by one pilot.
Nobody flew MKF in Argentina, that's why I had to improvise a couple of rough handles that it was not so useful, but it was a clue to get my target...
I continued improving my techniques on 2003 & 2004; asking for help and looking for much information…
On a web, all ways about MKF seams to head toward Ray, the best and most famous MKFlier... After that, I get information that also another excellent MKFliers exists...
My first demonstration of Multiple Kite during the Fourth "Painting Rosario Sky", was possible thanks to the passion of this sport. In that opportunity I flew 2 kites at the same time with independent controls.
On the same year,in the First Festival "Wind Party in Buenos Aires", I did another one flying on same style.
I felt motivated to write my first journalistic article for Kitelife´s Web Magazine, thanks to unforgettable experiences and it was published on January of 2005. In that article, I wrote a sentence that would give my pseudonymous: “El Alma del Piloto - The Pilot´s Soul”: ... "When you see the kite flying in the air you can see the soul of the pilot”.
During 2005 I continued publishing journalistic articles like Kitelife´s, Cometalia´s and BaToCo´s correspondent and on 2006, I began to publish technical articles about Multiple Sport Kite Flying.
On February 2005, the Quad lines began to be a new challenge. I could get 1,5 Quad Custom and Tonet from Spain, sent its Quad II like a present to me. With both kites I could learn and improve my techniques thanks to Tonet´s and John Barresi´s (USA) advices. Also, I flew my first demo of Multiple Kites with 3.
Same year on April, I began to practice Windless Indoor, in some gyms of Comodoro Rivadavia - Chubut - Province, thanks to Polo Madueño (Argentina)
In order to celebrate Children´s Day 2006 in Argentina, I attended the show in The Luna Park Stadium, then Windless Indoor Quad Lines was born at that time.
I felt that it was necessary to strengthen Windless; and Comodoro Rivadavia – Chubut Province - was the place where this sport will diffuse "Nation wide".
I invited John Barresi at that time, and he accepted to participate in the Third Festival “Wind Party in Buenos Aires, "First Patagonia Kite Festival" - Koshkill great wind", and XXVII National Oil Party in Comodoro Rivadavia – Chubut Province - Argentina.
It was very important BaToCo´s - Barriletes a Toda Costa Asociación Civil - and Polo Madueño´s support.
Since that time I start to fly more often doing demonstrations; and thanks to my friend Gustavo Sonzogni, on September 2007 my Web site was published “on line”. In order to Spanish people speakers have access to knowledge and experiences expressed by English pilots, I translated Team Flying Manual version 1.5 - Author: Mike Kory and Revolution Basic Flying Skills - Author: Joe Hadzicki. On the same way, during 2010 I translated into Spanish language 25 Tutorial Videos from John Barresi about Revolution Kite Flying.
I hope to continue sharing experiences, advices and friendships with God willing.
Thanks to all pilots who advices, teaches..., to "Ron Reich´s technical recently advices of Multiple Sport Kite Flying (MKF); particularly to José Luis Baldesari (In Memoriam) and Guillermo Fernández from Alto Vuelo; whose supported me reinforcing my passion for acrobatic kites.
